Monthly production (metric tonnes) of new virgin resins for low, linear low and high-density polyethylene and four other types of resins (excluding compounding or colouring ingredients) are presented in Table 1. Monthly production of some 25 industrial chemicals, including fertilizers, is shown in Table 2. Year-to-date data for the current and preceding year, for production of new virgin resins and production of industrial chemicals, by product, are included in tables 3 and 4 respectively.

This product has been discontinued as of April 2010. The last issue of this publication was Industrial Chemicals and Synthetic resins June 2009 vol, 52 no. 6, Other data tables are vailable through CANSIM; table 303-0014 and 303-0053 at http://cansim2.statcan.gc.ca

Beginning with the August 2002 issue, the bilingual edition was replaced by separate French and English editions. The bilingual publication continued the print publication with the same title (first issue date: 1958) commencing with the November 1998 issue.
